A quote is only comparable when each proposal lists the same assumptions: addresses, approximate volume, stairs or lifts, and preferred dates. If one quote is hourly and another is fixed price, ask both companies to restate in the same format.
Watch for exclusions: peak surcharges, after-hours load/unload, or ferry tolls on certain corridors. The cheapest headline number is rarely the full story.
